Setting the foundation for families to thrive

At Foundation PT, we believe that women deserve to feel strong, confident, and empowered throughout motherhood- not defined or limited by pain, fear, or uncertainty. Our mission is simple: to help moms and babies build strong foundations so families can thrive.

Meet your therapist

I'm Dr. Sabrina Thorpe, PT, DPT, PCES- a physical therapist, wife, and mom of four. For more than a decade, I've helped women and babies move better, resolve pain, navigate pregnancy and postpartum, and reach their goals and developmental milestones, and feel empowered in their own bodies. I've pursued specialized training in pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum care, and infant physical therapy and bodywork because I believe moms and babies deserve care that looks at the whole picture.

But my reason for doing this work is personal.

I know firsthand what ups and downs pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can bring. That's why I created Foundation PT: to provide women the kind of care I wish I had received on my own motherhood journey.

I've spent countless hours over the years learning how to best support the mom-baby dyad because I firmly believe that we are not simply destined to:

  1. Live with leaking, pads, or pelvic pain.

  2. Miss out on motherhood because we're hurting or afraid to move.

  3. Accept a difficult birth or recovery as something we just have to live with.

  4. Let pain interfere with intimacy and relationships.

  5. Watch our children struggle when we know something isn't right simply because we're told it's "normal."

Motherhood and womanhood can be so much more.

You deserve to feel confident in your body. Your baby deserves to be understood as an individual. And both of you deserve care that listens, looks deeper, and helps you move forward.

That's the kind of care I created Foundation PT to provide.
