You still get to have an expert in pediatric motor development assess your child and teach you what to do to help them at home, but you don't need to go through the entire rigamarole.

What to expect at your Developmental Milestone Check
Each session is tailored to the specific milestone your baby is struggling with. Each session includes:

Assessment of the skill in question

Screening for any other gross motor issues that might warrant a more in-depth evaluation

Teaching for parents on how to physically assist their baby in learning the skill

Potential environmental modifications to support baby's development of the skill
These sessions are shorter than a typical physical therapy session, so you are in and out quickly, armed with the knowledge you need to help your baby.
