Setting the foundation for families to thrive

At Foundation PT, we believe that women deserve to feel strong, confident, and empowered throughout motherhood- not defined or limited by pain, fear, or uncertainty. Our mission is simple: to help moms and babies build strong foundations so families can thrive.

Meet your therapist

I'm Dr. Sabrina Thorpe, a doctor of physical therapy, a wife, and a mom of three. Over the past 9 years, I've helped countless women and babies move better, resolve pain, meet milestones, and feel empowered in their own bodies.

I know firsthand what ups and downs pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can bring our way as moms. That's why I created Foundation PT: to provide women the care that I wish I would have had on my own motherhood journey. I've spent countless hours over the years learning how to best support the mom-baby dyad because I firmly believe that we are not simply doomed to:

  1. Wear pads in our underwear for the rest of our lives and diapers in our elder years

  2. Miss out on the joy of being with our children because we are in pain or afraid of peeing ourselves

  3. Accept birth trauma and rising c-section rates as the status quo

  4. Have stressful marriages because intimacy is difficult or even impossible

Motherhood and womanhood can be so much more.

Families choose us because we help you build a strong foundation.

Our approach, the Foundation Method, focuses on three steps to help the mom-baby dyad achieve true healing:

  1. Connect: getting connected to the root of the problem

  2. Build: restoring strength, mobility, and connection to your body.

  3. Apply: taking what you've built and applying it to the practical aspects of your daily life as a mom.
